With technology and innovation at the forefront of our day to day operations, our business has always looked at ways to become more efficient and consistently searching for better ways to do things. 

Over a year ago and prior to the covid pandemic, we put in place a number of measures for our team to work remotely -we moved all our systems to cloud base.

Cloud based systems introduced prior to Covid pandemic;

– A maintenance programme which keeps communication every step of the way between tradesperson, Landlord and tenant. Automatic followups to trades to ensure compliant, with up to date licencing and Insurance.

– Online platform for tenants to digitally return Lease Renewals, to secure Leases promptly as we understand the importance of securing long term tenancies, to minimise any unnecessary vacancy costs to Landlords. 

– Online applications for potential tenants to apply for available properties 24/7 

All online platforms can be accessed by the RMC team 24/7, making us as efficent and effective to benefit our clients changing needs.

Proactive and resourceful

“Resourcefulness” is a key word for the RMC team. We have certainly experienced and embraced an increase in contact from our Landlords and tenants, all reaching out for clarity on a quickly changing climate.

Good communication is more important than ever, keeping everyone informed throughout the pandemic as legislation changes as well as updates on market trends. 

We have developed a financial hardship application for our tenants, to better assist and deal with all genuine financial hardship cases and provide the best possible information to our Landlords.

Commitment on keeping employees and the community safe 

At RMC, we have a laser sharp focus on staff and the community welfare. Our office has been manned continually over the period on a staff rotation basis.  We have used this opportunity  to update our cleaning process by sanitising office space daily, installing hand sanitiser stands front and back as well as installing a protective screen to our front reception area. 

 Whilst Inspection restrictions have been eased, we continue to record each attendees contact details for tracing, meticulously sanitising before and after the open , monitoring the number of attendees at one given time- to ensure we comply with the current guidelines. 

Adapting to the Challenges 

Our team has totally adapted to the new climate. We continually conduct daily training via zoom meetings, morning and night. Sharing screens, to keep updated and on track to continually deliver consistent, quality service to all our customers. 


RMC have continued to provide a full 7 day service, from open inspections to maintenance management, routine inspections, collection of rent, renewal of Leases – due to technology and a well trained, committed team.
