Adelaide slightly outperformed the country on profitable resales over the June quarter.
Core Logic’s latest report, which looks at profit and loss-making sales shows 91.5 per cent of houses and 85.2 per cent of units re-sold for more than their previous sale price in the three months to the end of June Australia-wide.
Adelaide faired slightly better, with 92.2 per cent of houses and 86.6 per cent of units reselling at a profit.

Homes in the Norwood Payneham & St Peters area topped the profit making list, with 96.8 per cent of sales fetching a higher sale price than previously.
West Torrens, which includes sought-after suburbs such as Mile End and Thebarton, meanwhile boasted a profit making sale rate of 94.4 per cent, while Unley made 96.3 per cent.
CoreLogic Head of Research Tim Lawless says houses consistently recorded higher proportions of profit making sales than units.
